In memoriam

In late April, I was lucky enough to meet the beautiful Pushka, a sassy Tortoiseshell cat living with her devoted and loving family in Trowbridge. Pushka’s family had rehomed her and she had very much landed on her feet, and had become Yasmine’s best friend and shadow.

It can be a difficult time for families to make the decision to put their much loved pet to sleep, I had a few discussions with Pushka’s family to offer some support and chat things through when her health was in decline.

When her family felt it was time for me to visit, I attended their home and Pushka passed away peacefully in the arms of her best friend.

I was extremely touched by Yasmine and Pushka’s close bond, she was a very special cat and I know she will be hugely missed.
