‘ There is no greater earthly privilege than to be loved by a dog’

In memoriam

Eevee

Eevee joined Hannah’s family 3 years ago after being adopted from a rescue charity. She had a rough start to life, and came with numerous health conditions and a pile of medication, and a need for love and attention. She didn’t trust anyone and found daily life difficult after what she had been through. In the care of Hannah and her family, she flourished into the most loving, affectionate dog. It was truly a pleasure to meet these lovely people and their two gorgeous spaniels, they had done an amazing job transforming Eevee into the sweet loving dog I met.

“Eevee declined in her health quite quickly, and she let us know it was time. As you can imagine this was a heartbreaking time for us a family. Sophie was quick to respond to our messages and was understanding and empathetic towards our needs. The day it was time to say goodbye, Sophie was incredible with all of is (humans and dogs!). She listened to us gush about our baby girl and helped us to come to terms with our choice. Eevee left the world plastered in peanut butter in the comfort of her own bed. As hard as it was to say goodbye to such a special girl, Sophie made it as smooth and peaceful as possible and we would not use anyone else now.”
